MAKSIMALISASI TUJUAN PEDAGOGIS DALAM PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KOMUNIKASI

Kebutuhan teknologi pada saat ini untuk mendukung proses pedagogis untuk mencapai hasil pendidikan yang maksimum tidak bisa dihindari. Namun keberadaan TIK tidak boleh menggantikan tujuan pedagogis. Keberadaaan TIK adalah sarana yang memfasilitasi pencaaian tujuan pendidikan secara maksimal. Berdasarkan pada argumentasi itu, tujuan tulisan ini untuk mengidentifikasi keselarasann antara peran TIK dalam proses pedagogis untuk mencapai hasil pendidikan secara maksimum. Untuk menjawab tujuan tersebut, pembahasan ada tulisan ini akan terdiri dari dua bagian. Bagian Pertama mengetengahkan tentang sifat dari ranah pedagogis, dan bagian kedua tentang peran TIK.

Nowadays, the needs for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to support pedagogical process to achieve maximum education outcomes is inevitable. Nevertheless, the existence of ICT should not fully replace pedagogical objectives. On the contrary, it should play a role as a “facilitator†to support the achievement of maximum education outcomes. Based on those arguments, the objective of this article is to identify a complementary role of ICT to achieve maximum education outcomes. In doing so, this article consists of two parts; the first part discusses the nature of pedagogical domains while the second, discusses specifically about the roles of ICT.
